CPIT Seminar Audit Request Form
Please read and consent to the following Policies and Procedures for CPIT Auditors. This form must be filled out prior to attendance of training seminar and must have approval by, Emily Wills. The expectations of a trainee or graduate auditor of training seminars are as follows: -Place your belongings i.e. bags, drinks, shoes, jackets etc. in a locker to keep it off the floor and out of the way to maintain a tidy atmosphere. -The studio is designed to be shared no matter whats scheduled i.e. group classes, private training, CPIT seminars, so do your best to be out of the way and respectful of the trainees and clients experience & investment. -Help clean and tidy up as training progresses throughout the day. -You are welcome to observe, but please wait to ask questions until called upon as not to derail the topic at hand. -Auditing is not a come and go at your own convenience activity so please plan accordingly for your timed obligation. -During training, refrain from creating an extra layer of noise due to socializing & carrying on private conversations. Your role as an auditor is to observe and take notes as needed. -As an auditor, there is no guarantee that you will be able to participate in training and this should not be your expectation, having gone through your own cycle of training, future participation during an audit is a privilege. -If called upon by a member of CPIT Teaching Faculty to assist in teaching a particular exercise or be a student body for a particular exercise, you may participate, but only in specific instances, after which, you must return to your observation post. -Refrain from correcting, teaching, instructing, current trainees unless called upon by CPIT Teaching Faculty. In addition, if called upon to be a test body, refrain from correcting trainees or steering the workout. Our own best intentions of “helping” can actually be a detriment to the student trainee. If you see or notice technical errors, bring it to the attention of the CPIT Faculty so that clarification is ensured. -Videoing seminars is not permitted unless for very specific reasons and must have CPIT Teaching Faculty permission/approval. -If you missed a particular part of training when you went through your own training cycle, it is your duty to make that up in private training. If you feel you want to be a participating trainee in the particular facet of training you missed, please discuss this prior to training with a member of the CPIT Faculty for approval.
